Fortnite’s ‘Ted Offensive’: There Are Some Secret Challenges In The Game Right Now, Here’s How To Find And Solve Them

Fortnite is popping off right now. Deadpool just showed up on the Yacht, there’s some sort of doomsday device hanging out around The Agency, and there’s some mysterious activity happening down in Wailing Woods. A few days ago, some players noticed something strange on the daily challenge board, and it turned out that it led to an entirely secret subplot in the southwest, with its own secret challenges and XP rewards. It all revolves around something called “The Ted Offensive”, which seems to involve a war between Teddy Bears and Garden Gnomes. At least, I think.

To start with, you’ve got to find the plans. Those are located in a secret bunker in Wailing Woods. There are some bears at a table, one of the bears has an eyepatch, it’s good stuff.

After that, there are some secret honeypots around the map. These are indicated both in the secret bunker and on the daily challenge boards, but you might still want a map to help out.

And finally, there are some gnomes hanging around by some telescopes. They, for some reason, require you to aim these telescopes. So that they can look through them, I guess? At the bunker? It’s hard to tell why they want this, but they do.

Each of these is worth as much as a standard challenge: 40,000 XP. Which is a nice little drop of extra experience if you’re looking for that right now: we’re almost at Midas’ challenges, after all, and you might want to hit up to Battle Pass Tier 100 before we get ready to close this season out.

My main question is whether or not we’ll see more of these things as we move into the final weeks of the season. It wouldn’t be out of the question to see one of these every week, and there have been rough analogs to this sort of thing in the past. Regardless, it’s a fun little bonus that feels absolutely in line with Fortnite’s style, so get at it for some extra experience as you grind that battle pass up and wait to see what else Deadpool is going to get up to.
