‘Fortnite’ Season 2, Week 7: Where To Visit Rapid’s Rest, Gorgeous Gorge And The Shark

Fortnite is back with a fresh set of challenges here in Chapter 2, season 2, week 7 for Skye’s Adventure, the second-to-last battle pass skin where we’re going to have to do 18 challenges over two weeks in order to make her commit to GHOST or SHADOW. And today? One of those challenge is to visit The Shark, Rapid’s Rest and Gorgeous Gorge.

One is a giant spy base that is labeled on the map. The other two are…less conspicuous, so I figured you might need a guide. Remember that this is just “visit” not “land at,” so you can do more than one in a single game. In particular, Rapid’s Rest and Gorgeous Gorge are decently close together.

The Shark: You know where the Shark is. You may not have visited it all that much because it’s kind of out of the way, but it’s Skye’s home base which is why we’re going to it this week. Stop by and say hello to the henchmen. While you’re there you can also complete the “escape from a vault using a secret passage” challenge if you want, which also popped up this week.

Rapid’s Rest: I’ll be honest, I had no idea where this was heading into this challenge. Turns out it’s a small spot just east of Lazy Lake (Rapid’s Rest, Lazy Lake, get it?). You can’t really miss it because there are a bunch of kayaks and picnic tables and at least one boat you can actually drive there.

Gorgeous Gorge: I had been here at least once for a different challenge in the past (I think it was “swim by no swimming signs?”) but it’s been a while. This gorge is midway on the river between The Agency and Lazy Lake, and hard to miss with an absolutely giant waterfall and a high bridge nearby. I think being at both the top or bottom of the waterfall should count for this.

And those are your three locations. You really can get from Rapid’s Rest to Gorgeous Gorge in one match pretty easily, even if they’re not on the same river. The Shark is way, way far away and would require a helicopter to get to the other two, most likely.
