If you enjoy streaming Fortnite you're likely annoyed by its emotes. It's not that they're bad, but rather that many of them feature music that could get you into trouble on Twitch, YouTube, and Mixer. But with the latest update to the Battle Royale game, that won't be an issue anymore.
Fortnite is getting a handy options toggle on PC, allowing you to use emotes without playing any licensed audio that may be attached to it. That means no accidental mutes or content strikes on your streams and videos. Just the same silly dance moves, without some of the audible fanfare behind them.
That will definitely come in handy if you're a fan of Rick Astley, who Epic Games struck a deal with recently to have his now infamous dance join the growing collection of emotes.
Fortnite is also currently teasing its next big season as part of Chapter 2, with an ongoing ARG hinting at some of the features to come. It's all a bit confusing right now, but that's part of the fun. It launches on February 20.
