The second chapter of Fortnite's second season continues with brand-new missions and obstacles to overcome. For those who have been enjoying the secret agent NPCs and the mayhem they bring to the table, this season has been an absolute blast. For those who prefer not to do have to deal with AI chuckle bots running around their maps and getting in the way, it might not be as fun.
For the Week 2 Challenges in Fortnite, players are going to need those divisive secret agents to earn those Battle Pass experience points. You'll need to knock down henchmen in three different matches, which just involves shooting the bumbling masked assailants until they fall and roll around on the ground. You'll also need to open special Chests that have an ID Scanner holding them shut, which is only slightly more complicated.
There are two different ways to unlock Chests locked by an ID Scanner. The first uses the exact same process as unlocking ID Scanner doors from the first week's challenges. You can find the Chests in any of the new locations, including at the bottom of the Grotto, the Shark, the Yacht, the Rig and the Agency. Heading into the Phone Booth on the surface or down the shaft will lead you to the base below, where a whole swarm of agents will be looking for you.
What you'll need to do is knock down an agent and carry his semi-conscious but limp body over to one of the new Chests with an ID Scanner attached. There, you'll need to hold the agent up to the scanner, which should open it up and allow you to access the goodies inside.
The other method involves turning into a secret agent. There are Phone Booths littered across the map that transform you into one of the agents once you step inside. While transformed, you'll be able to just walk up to an ID Scanner chest with your disguised avatar. There's something rewarding about having to go through a double cross to get some better loot so you can slaughter more henchmen.
How do you feel about this week's challenges, and how are you enjoying Season 2? Tell us in the comments.
