The last map had gotten absolutely stacked with all manner of strangeness: four whole biomes, points of interest that had switched around two or three times over and, just generally, the remnants of nearly two years of wacky plot developments. This new map has a sense of calm about it, and thatâs plenty evident in one of the locations we have to visit for our challenge this week. Read on for a map, guide and location for where to visit Flopper Pond.
Flopper Pond is an idyllic little house on a pond: a small fishing dock, a boat in the water, and just generally a little slice of heaven. Youâll find it in between Holly Hedges and Salty Springs. Hereâs where youâre dropping:

You can maybe find a weapon or two in the house, but if you want anything to really make yourself combat-ready, youâll need to head to either Holly Hedges or Salty Springs. Or you can fish! This is a tremendously-friendly sniper area, so if you do decide to fish and see what comes up, expect to die pretty quickly. This is one of the ways in which fishing in Fortnite differs from fishing elsewhere.

There are no prestige challengers this time around, so if you want an extra challenge youâve got to design it yourself. Iâd start in the relative safety of Coral Cove and then work my way south: getting to that boat launch is going to be tricky, but there are plenty of ziplines around there to make things easier.
And that will do you! A solid week of challenges overall, even if I have no idea what âDockyard Dealâ means in this context. I guess the mission is really just the name of the loading screen, now.
